‘ but, i’m a GILMORE ! luke, i ( n e e d ) my coffee —- not decaffeinated coffee. ‘ she knew that her step-father was only looking out for her and her unborn baby but also knew that some habits were hard to break. ‘ i’ve done plenty of research, one cup of caffeinated coffee won’t hurt me or ( y o u r ) future grandchild. ‘
@ldcnes gets a started bc dad!luke is my fave okAY
“ no! FINAL word on the matter. ” he knew that he was being harsh, but the next generation gilmore was his last chance to stop the caffeine take over he has been subjected to for the best twenty years. “ i’m not letting my grandchild be subjected this addiction your mom has created.”
’ thanks for the UNICORN bookmark, luke! ‘ although rory selflessly made it seem like she loved unicorns when in truth, she did ( n o t ) , the youngest gilmore was appreciative of his presence in her life. ‘ i made you something, too! ‘ a beat. ‘ but it’s not cookies, i didn’t wanna burn the inn down. ‘ after all, her mom wasn’t the best cook.
“ i’m so GLAD that you like it !” he was trying to make rory smile, to be sort of a father figure in the little girl’s life. there’s nothing that luke wouldn’t do for her. he would give her the moon if he could. “you did ? can i see it ? ”
his heart feels like it’s going to FALL out of his chest like he can’t catch his breath. everything feels like it’s broken like nothing sits right in his mind. he wonders briefly wonders how lorelai is taking such news but he can’t wrap his mind around the fact that she’s gone. rory’s GONE. how can rory be gone? he REFUSES to believe it.
it doesn’t hit him until so much later, while he && lorelai sit in the living room going through rory’s baby book, that she’s gone. that she won’t be walking through the front door again.
