I’ve always wondered what happened to the original ring.

So when I saw it in the revival, I about died.

I recognized it right away, and started bawling before Luke was like, I should get a better one or a newer one.


all I could think was…. HE WAS WAITING

He had it in the hallway desk drawer, like the place where you keep your pens in case you have to jot down something. The ring was there, waiting, nine long years, but never more than ten seconds away from being used.
That’s what I call playing the long game.
